I am so pleased to have Tory Richards as my Author Spotlight today
I am going to showcase her latest book release from her new series Desert Rebels MC
⚠️This MC romance contains explicit language, violence and sexual content not suitable for minors.
As enforcer of the Desert Rebels Cole's job is to protect his MC. As a favor to a friend they take in a young woman who they think is trying to escape a crazy ex. But she's lying. When the truth comes out, so does trouble to the club. Cole wants Raven, but will their explosive attraction to one another be enough to overcome the deception, and give them both a chance at happiness?
Heart pounding, I panted breathlessly, "Cole! I'm-I'm not who you th-think I am!" I scraped his scalp with my nails, bowing sharply beneath his mouth. Oh, sweet Jesus, he was going to kill me with pleasure!
Breathing hard, he pulled his mouth off my nipple and looked up at me with surprising clarity in his eyes, his dark expression stamped with raw arousal. "I know exactly who you are," he grated hoarsely. "I've known since I pulled you beneath me."
What? I took a second to process what he'd said, or to at least try. I was so turned on that it felt as if I were on some life-altering drug, and I was, in a way--I was high on Cole. "We-We can't do this," I whispered, while at the same time asking myself why it was that we couldn't.
His grin was pure sex. "Looks like we are."
"But . . . you thought I was someone else," I reminded him. "What about her?"
He released a frustrated breath. "Can we talk about this later? I'm right in the middle of something."
I was not going to be a convenient fill-in for another woman, no matter how turned on I was. No matter how hot Cole was. "Listen, jerk, when a man makes love to me, I'd at least like to know that he knows it's me he’s making love to."
His body vibrated with laughter against me. "I don't make love, baby. I fuck."
I felt a surge of anger in response to his flippant attitude. "Well, then find someone else to fuck," I hissed, trying to wiggle out from beneath him. Cole was a big man, and he was heavy. Bumping my hips to try to force him to move proved to be a dumb move, because all it managed to do was reveal how fucking huge and hard his cock was.
Cole grunted in response and dropped his head back onto my breasts. I began to wiggle wildly, afraid of where this was going.
Afraid of myself.
"Jesus, wait a fucking minute, will you?" he growled as if he were in pain, pressing my body down to hold me still.
I stilled. "I'll give you ten seconds."
His mouth was against my breast, and the feel of his smile on my flesh caused a shiver to ripple through my body.

Tory Richards is an Amazon bestselling author who writes smut with a plot. Born in Maine, she's lived most of her life in Florida where she went to school, married, and raised her daughter. She's retired from Disney and spends her time with family and friends, traveling, and writing.
Q: Can you share with us a typical day in the life of Tory Richards?
A: I'm not a very disciplined writer, but most of my days go something like this. I wake up, give the cats a treat, and drink 1-2 cups of coffee while watching the early morning news, some of The Today Show, and Live with Kelly and Ryan. About 9:30 I grab my lap top and start writing. Interruptions throughout the day will include lunch, bathroom breaks, news at 12:00, a nap for 1.5 hours, Dr. Phil at 3:00 and Judge Judy at 4:00, then more news and dinner. I'll spend a couple of hours on the internet doing promo stuff and finish the evening reading, or do more writing. I try writing a chapter a day. I know it's not much but writing is a hobby for me.
Q: What inspired you to write the Desert Rebels MC Series?
A: Believe it or not a character did. I first introduced Cole and some of the Desert Rebels in Furious, book 3 of my Nomad Outlaws Trilogy. I tend to do that a lot, weave my characters in more than one story before I give them their own, and Cole was just too sexy to forget.
Q: Can you tell us what you are working on at the moment?
A: I have a few projects going on right now. Finishing up Demon, book 2 in the new MC series I'm writing, Desert Rebels MC. I'm also updating a couple of my other books by giving them new covers, titles, and adding content to them before re-publishing. Rapture, a short erotic romance, comes out on 8/9.
Q: Do you have a specific writing style? Is there anything about your style or genre that you find particularly challenging?
A: I write several genres but the last couple of years I've focused on MC romances. Writing fight scenes, and sometimes sexual content can be challenging, and very exhausting. I'm not kidding. With regard to my writing style I focus on getting the book written, and then go back and fill it in, revise it until stick a fork in me I'm done, and send it off to my editor. She sends it back, I make the edits and changes she recommended, read it through one last time, and download the final copy.
Q: In your opinion what is the best thing about this series for you?
A: Watching the filthy-talking, swaggering, sexy outlaws fall when that special woman comes along. Usually they're oblivious, fight it all the way, and do something stupid before finally admitting she's not going anywhere, and he doesn't want her to go anywhere.
Q: Who does your beautiful covers?
A: I get my covers from several different sources. Ramona Lockwood used to be my go to until she got too busy with other things. Madelene Martin, she didn't do Cole but she did do all the others in the series for me. She did the covers for the Nomad Outlaws Trilogy for me. I use her a lot. I browse sites for pre-made covers and if I see one I like I'll purchase it, and then write a story for it.
I would like to thank Tory Richards for being my Author Spotlight today and wish her good luck with her wonderful new series Desert Rebels MC.
